This particular crepe paper is extracted from the paper pulp which we get from recycled materials. The crepe papers are soft and fabric-like which defines the tissue paper well.

Process of making the tissues paper

Coming to the toilet tissue paper, they are being made using the machines. The toilet paper machine makes the task quite convenient and time-savvy process too. Today we will discuss the process of making the tissue paper: Here are the steps named:

Ø    Pulping

Ø    Pressing

Ø    Converting

In the process of pulping, the logged trees are cut into chips from which fine flakes are grounded. These flakes are soaked and are retted. The pulp of the paper is normally extracted from the wood fiber or commonly recycled materials too. In this process, the chemicals are added and other processing is also done.

Now it is being taken to the next step of pressing, where the pulp is being poured over the belt uniformly. This helps in removing any water droplets from the pulp. Then this is being taken to Yankee which is heating rollers. It makes the fabric dry and then taken to roll the paper.

Converting is the last step where different thin and thick roles are being made according to the necessity. Perforations are made on the paper using the doctor blades which makes it easy to pull apart.

Conclusion

Thus, a lot of energy has to be invested in getting the tissue paper pinned up in the roll. Hope this information is quite useful for everyone.
